It is ADVISABLE to use the filter
with metallic Bowl Guards for enhanced SAFETY requirements to avoid personal
injury and/or property damage.
|
Polycarbonate bowl Should NOT be exposed to synthetic lubricants, alcohols,
glycols, liquified petroleum gases or harmful chemicals or their fumes as they can possibly cause the polycarbonate bowl
to burst. Use only non-detergent mineral base oils. Clean the bowl with
soap and water only. DO NOT use solvents, thinners, acetone
or carbon tetra-chloride etc.
|
Maximum pressure 250 psig. Maximum temperature 50ºC.

It is important to DRAIN THE FILTER BOWL REGULARLY.
The liquid level SHOULD NEVER RISE above the baffle & cartridge retainer.

Coalescing Filters |
| Microfibre filter cartridge
can not be cleaned by back-flushing because the solids are trapped within the depth of the cartridge & not on the surface. The cartridge
should be changed when the air flow falls below an acceptable level oe when the pressure drop becomes high.
DO NOT use excessive force or tools on the Cartridge Retainer. The cartridge is securely sealed by tightening the Retainer
to about 2 turns after it first contacts the cartridge.
|
Install the filter before the regulator and lubricator in the compressed airline,
As NEAR As Possible To The POINT OF USE. Where the compressed
air is sourced from an overhead line, the air should be piped
from the top of the header to the filter. In this way, excessive moisture
and dirt are not gravity-fed to the in-line filter. All fittings must
be leak tight before applying air pressure to the filter.
